Now you need to create a new account. You will be asked to enter your full name, mobile number, email ID, Aadhaar number, and a strong password. After entering these details, click on the “Register” button. You will receive an OTP on your phone to verify your number. Once verified, you will be given a unique Application ID. If you are in college, choose UG or PG depending on your current course. Make sure to select the correct option based on your present studies, or else your application might be rejected.

Step 4: Login and Fill the Application Form
After registration, go back to the homepage and click on “Applicant Login.” Use your Application ID and password to log in. Once logged in, the main application form will open. Start by filling in your personal details like name, father’s name, address, caste, religion, etc. Then, fill in your academic details like last exam passed, percentage, course name, institution name, and board or university. After that, fill in your bank account information carefully. This includes your bank name, branch, IFSC code, and account number. The bank account must be in your name and active.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2025 Renewal

Step 1: Visit the Official Website
To renew your scholarship for the year 2025, first open your web browser and go to the official Swami Vivekananda Scholarship portal by typing: https://svmcm.wbhed.gov.in. This is the same website you used when you first applied for the scholarship. Make sure you are on the official site and not any third-party link to avoid errors or fraud.

Step 2: Click on “Renewal Application”
Once the homepage is loaded, you will find the option called “Renewal Application” at the top menu or homepage banner. Click on that option to move forward with the renewal process. This option is specifically for students who have already received the scholarship in the previous year and now want to continue it for the next academic year.

Step 3: Login Using Previous Credentials
After clicking on the renewal section, a login page will appear. Here, you must enter your Application ID and Password that you had created during your original application. These are the same login credentials you used earlier. If you forgot your password, you can use the “Forgot Password” option to reset it using your registered mobile number or email. Once your credentials are entered correctly, click the login button and proceed.

Step 4: Update Academic Details and Upload Current Year’s Marksheet
Once logged in, your previous year’s information will appear automatically. Now, you will be required to update your current academic information. You need to enter details about the course you are continuing, your institution name, and other related fields. The most important part of this step is uploading your latest year’s marksheet. This marksheet must clearly show that you have passed the previous academic year and are promoted to the next level. Make sure the marksheet is properly scanned and readable. If the marksheet is unclear, your renewal request might get rejected.

Step 5: Upload Renewal Documents
After updating the academic section, you will need to upload certain documents again to support your renewal request. These may include your current marksheet, admission receipt or fee structure for the new session, a recent photograph, and possibly an updated income certificate if asked. All documents must be in the required format and within the size limit mentioned on the portal. Be careful while uploading, as incorrect or missing documents can lead to rejection.

Step 6: Final Submission and Acknowledgement Download
Once all the sections are filled correctly and all the necessary documents are uploaded, carefully review your entire renewal form. Double-check every detail like marks, name, institution, and document clarity. After confirming that everything is accurate, click on the “Submit” button. Your renewal application will now be officially submitted. After submission, an acknowledgment slip will appear on the screen. Download it immediately and take a printout for future reference. This slip confirms that your renewal has been submitted successfully and will also include your application ID, which can be used later to check the renewal status.
